How To Calculate Your Selling Value?

In business, including internet businesses, success is not measured solely on the basis of net profit. There are other factors that influence, but the main thing is the effectiveness of work systems that we use. The more effective our work system, than our working time that we need also less, without reducing (or even just improving) productivity. Try to read the book The 4 Hours Work Week, if you have not read it and feel how good of a success which we use our working time to the fullest.

Every person has a different a success rate. And one way to find out is to calculate ‘selling value’ of them. Just describe what is the ‘selling value’? The easy way to describe it is, look at the professionals who charge their fees that count per hour. Such as consultants, psychologists, top web developers, and so on. Well, that the nominal hourly wage is the equivalent to the ‘selling value’. And obviously, the better their reputation, the better their work, then the ‘selling value’ will also increase.

For us the Internet business, selling value can be calculated with our net income calculated each month by the time we spent working for 1 month.

Now how to calculate you selling value ?

Here is simple Examples :

This month,  A earns revenue from Google AdSense $ 1,000 and from Amazon $ 500.  And total expenditures of  “A” for hosting and promotion is approximately $ 300. Every day, A work at least for 4 hours, including Saturday and Sunday. From this illustration it can be concluded that A net income was $ 1000 + $ 500 – $ 300 = $ 1,200, while the total time he spent working is a 4 * 30 (assuming 1 month = 30 days) = 120 hours. Thus, the Selling value of A is $ 1,200 / 120 or equal to $ 10 / hour.

Another example, this month’s B produces $ 700 from Clickbank to the expenditure of $ 60. Because it is still working a full in the office, then the B doing internet business only on Saturday and Sunday, and work only 2 hours each. From this it can be calculated that the B net income was ($700-$60 = $ 640) and the total work time is 2 * 2 * 4 (assuming there is 1 month 4 weeks) = 16 hours. Thus, the selling value of B is $ 640 / 16 or equal to $ 40 / hour.

Of the two examples above can be seen that the value of selling a person is not determined by the amount of money he got, but rather of how much time he spent working. And remember, as I mentioned earlier, the more effective work system we have, the less work of time we need. thus, will increase the value of our selling.

Therefore, wrong if we assume that successful people are those whose make huge income. More precisely, people who succeed are people who can earn big with only a little work. That is the true value of success.

And once again to remember, that little or no work that does not mean you just sleep in the room, yes:) A little work is the use of time and resources well. Well, have you done it correctly?
