How to Get Special Discounts at NameCheap?
One of my favorite domain registrar is NameCheap. The main reason is the domain control panel, and the speed of registration process or domain extension that is not too difficult like GoDaddy. There are also features like free Whois Guard for each new domain that we list, though I myself rarely use it. Unfortunately, there’s one major weakness of NameCheap that makes me, like it or not, still loyal to GoDaddy – no discount for the extension of the domain. As a result, for the domain renewal fee for each domain in NameCheap have to spend nearly $ 10, unlike at GoDaddy that can be lowered only about $ 7.5 for each domain (. com . net . org). Though my domain portfolio is not just one or two in NameCheap, but dozens. Can you imagine if you had to pay domain extension without any discount?
Fortunately, there was a special way to get a discount for renewal domain (and domain name registration) in NameCheap. I say “special way” because there are terms and conditions apply. Namely:
- You must have a minimum of 50 domains in one account at NameCheap
- Register yourself in the NameCheap forums and apply for a special discount
Well, if you have two conditions met, then automatically you will get the status of High Volume Customers and reserves the right to use the special coupon code, “GOLDDEAL“. With this coupon code, you are entitled to:
- Registration, renewal, and re-activation domain .biz and .org for $ 8.81, as well as domain .com and .net for $ 9.10.
- Domain transfer. biz, .org, and .info for $ 8.81, as well as domain .com and .net for $ 8.28
- Registration and Whois Guard extension worth $ 0.99 / year
It’s still cheaper at GoDaddy, but well, rather than none …………
